If you have ever had a pet it is not necessary to explain the trauma one experiences when a loss occurs.  Many people consider their pets to be a member of the family.  The pain can defy explanation but we have all experienced or will experience it.  Grief is an individual and very personal experience.  However, there are some similarities with the methods and techniques available to aid in diminishing the hurt and allowing one to reach a healthy acceptance in a shorter period of time.

To help with that difficult journey is the basis I used in creating this program.  Why shouldn’t tools be made available for people to help ease this difficult period in their life.  We are talking about a reduction in the hurt we feel no matter what the source.  There are some differences, to be sure, because sometimes our family, friends or co-workers cannot relate to this situation.  They will never understand, as Anatole France succinctly pointed out in the quote at the top of the page.

I recognize that grieving is as individualized as we are distinct individually from one another.  The intensity and length of ones grief vary from person to person and are influenced by multiple variables.  Variables such as our individual personality, our attitudes, and our belief systems, past experiences, our values, how the loss occurred and our sense of guilt, all come into play.  However there are certain common denominators in healing that must be met in order to move on.

This program recognizes those similarities and differences and delves into them to help reduce the intensity of the pain, allowing you to reach a level of acceptance allowing you to be healthy and grow.
